The project aims to provide a progressive upgrade to the existing site-wide BMCS system installed at Sydney Opera House. The existing system, whilst satisfactorily fulfilling many of the functions required is at the end of its economic life. More functionality and Sydney Opera House personnel user friendly interfaces are required of the new system. It is also a requirement to keep Sydney Opera House systems operating 7 days a week, year round while the new system is progressively installed over 3 years.
