The Upper Darling Salt Interception Scheme is located in between the two northwestern NSW towns Bourke and Louth.
The Upper Darling Salt Interception Scheme incorporates the following:
Ø Supply, delivery and construction of following:
o 9320m of DN400 PE 80B Pipelines
o 1800m of DN250 PE 80B Pipelines
o 5530m of DN200 PE 80B Pipelines
o Associated pipeline structures such as isolation valves, scour valves, air valves, pig-entry installation, thrust blocks and road crossing.
Ø Installation of Flowmeters
Ø Hydrostatic testing of pipelines
Ø Site clearing, restoration and construction of maintenance access track
Development and implementation of relevant risk management plans including compliance with mitigation measures suggested in REF.
