The Sydney Opera House (SOH) is seeking proposals from suitably experienced, competent and skilled retail operators who would like the opportunity to supply retail services for the SOH retail shops, both onsite and online.
The core proposition set out below reflects the importance of ensuring that retail services provided at the Sydney Opera House (SOH) live up to the promise of the building.
Respondents should address the key trading considerations and requirements outlined in the tender documents in developing a Proposal that will:
- focus on the Sydney Opera House branded experience, creating bespoke licensed items, working with SOH to buy or produce relevant and connected merchandise;
- develop a cohesive strategy for supporting both the Retail Shops and the Online Shop, delivering sales growth across the Term and support marketing campaigns and collaborations to increase awareness of the Retail Shops and Online Shop; and
- ensure a first-class team operates the Retail Shops and Online Shop, providing exceptional service levels and offering regular training to keep well versed in the activity on-site to meet the standards expected in a world class performing arts and tourist destination.
