Tender Details

This equipment will replace the existing technology, which is at the end of its economic life. Additional units may be ordered as and when required or for ad hoc requirements.

NSWP have been interviewing suspects by use of Audio/Video recorders since 1991.
The equipment used for this function records the interview onto three Compact Cassettes and one VHS Video Cassette in real time, thus effectively creating four Master recordings of the interview.

The equipment utilised for this is an integrated recorder, comprising currently of two cameras, one giving a view of the suspect facing the equipment and the other a wider view of the room including the interviewing officers.
The view is switched automatically between the views as a function of the equipment.

The above equipment is at the end of its life and this project is to provide a replacement in line with current technology.
