Wagga Wagga SAP - Stage B Package 1 Works
Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation (RGDC) invites expressions of interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified and experienced Persons seeking to undertake the role of Contractor for the construction of Package 1 of the Stage B works of the Wagga Wagga SAP.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the second SAP under the $4.2 billion Snowy Hydro Legacy Fund. The SAP will help to deliver critical infrastructure that stimulates economic development and employment in Wagga Wagga, which is envisioned to become an eco-industrial hub of freight and logistics, advanced manufacturing and agribusiness that will enhance the local and regional community and provide world class investment opportunities.
Stage B, Package 1 is a Construct Only contract, involving:
- Drainage and Utilites Work: Drainage and utilities for Stage B lots (including general bulk earthworks, stormwater, potable water, sewerage, electrical, gas and telecommunications). Utilities spine linking the Stage B lots to existing potable water, recycled water, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure. See Table 3 and for further information.
- Internal Roads: A new unsignalised intersection at Dorset Drive. A new road (Internal Road A), 1.5km long and 13m wide linking Dorset Drive to a new roundabout on Merino Road. New Loop Road A, 0.8km long and 13m wide, on the north-eastern side of Internal Road A.
For the successful shortlisted candidates, there will be early tender involvement while final detailed design is generated with a RFT expected to be released in August 2023, close in October 2023 and awarded in December 2023.
