Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

1. The worksite is located on a floodplain and is subject to inundation. generally Floodwaters recede in early February. hence time of possession of the site is either late March or ealy April.The successful contractor will be advised in writing.

2. Design plans will be provided with the tender documents. However, tenderers will have to submit their own designs for the regulator structures by an accredited engineer and to Australian standards.

3. The winning tenderer will have to pass a financial assessment before being awarded the contract. If the tenderer does not pass the financial assessment the next highest ranked tender will be financially assessed.

4.A copy of the Review of Environmental Factors will be provided (on CD Rom) at the mandatory pre-tender meeting.
