This project is the reconstruction of the courtroom and verandah sections of the historic Kiandra Courthouse in Kosciuszko National Park between Cooma and Tumut. The project includes the form based reconstruction of the courtroom roof and verandah and includes extensive work required to be performed by a heritage stonemason.

Interested tenderers must attend a mandatory site meeting on the date specified in the tender documents. Measured and Architectual drawings will be available to tenderer's at this meeting.

Conditions for Participation
1.Lump sum price(s) and/or any rates, and value for money;
2.Tenderer’s financial capacity (as a pass/fail criterion);
3.Demonstrated relevant experience and previous performance, and ability to perform within set time frames and Tenderer’s experience working on heritage buildings, particularly with respect to stonework and with heritage instruction, guidelines and advice;
4.Proposed innovation, approach and methodology, including extent of recycled or salvaged materials, plant and equipment identified for incorporation into the Works;
5.Tenderer’s capacity and ability to complete the work, ability to complete the work within DECC project timeframes, including proposed management, organisation, subcontractors, personnel, management systems/practice and current commitments;
6.Demonstrated experience working on sites under archaeological supervision; and
7.Demonstrated experience working in remote and un-serviced locations.
Estimated Timeframe for Delivery
The construction project is to commence by the 2nd November 2009 and be completed no later than the 31st March 2010.
