Tender Details

The works involve refurbishment of an existing facility for use as Taronga Zoo's new Tasmanian Devil Exhibit.

The new Tasmanian Devil Exhibits at Taronga Zoo is a minor-works refurbishment situated within the Zoo's former Jungle Cats Building, which is located near the eastern boundary of Taronga Zoo.

The proposed exhibit enclosures are adjacent to the breeding facility housed in the same builidng. The proposed exhibit enclosures consists of:

The Tasmanian Devil Research Room and the Conservation Messages Room;
The "Human Impact" Enclosure;
The "Natural Habitat" Exhibit with timber viewing desk;
The Tasmanian Devil Den Viewing Room, and
Minor work in the back-of-house.

Tenderers have been selected by Taronga Conservation Society Australia and only the following tenderers are invited to tender for the Contract:

Tender documents will be issued to the above tenderers. A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on site on 23rd July 2009 (Thursday) commencing at 9:30 am at CW&I Building.
