Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water / Construction of 500kL Storage Tank Facility at Taronga Zoo, NSW - C2008.004

The proposed work is to be conducted at the Targona Zoo Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Plant, located at the lower part of the Taronga Zoo near Whiting Beach, and is part of the project to provide a new Storage Tank and additional treatment facility at the treatment plant supported by the NSW Government's Water Savings Fund.

THe scope of work will be constructed in two separable portions and shall include the following:
1) Facility modifications work as shown on the drawings;
2) Hydrostatic testing of all pipework and valves to the appropriate standards;
3) Retaining walls;
4) Fabrication drawings for steelwork including handrailing;
5) Road access;
6) Pathways;
7) Reinstate and make good the area;
8) Connection and testing of all pipework to the storage tank (supplied and erected by others);
9) Steelwork including chamber covers and handrailing.
