SCOPE
Planting and maintenance of Former Snowy Scheme Sites is scheduled for 2008 - 2010 across a range of locations within Kosciuszko National Park (KNP).
A planting crew of 4 to 6 staff is required for most site work.
Larger crews can be negotiated with the NPWS Site Manager if the work load exceeds 'normal' site requirements.
Work includes planting, weeding, mulching, watering, re-planting.
To assist with determining appropriate schedules rates, two zones have been created - Northern, which is for work located within KNP at sites located to the north of Mt Jagungal, and Southern, which is for work located within KNP at sites located to the south of Mt Jagungal.
Tenderers may submit a schedule of rates for one zone only, or rates for each zone.
Successful tenderers awarded a contract will not be guaranteed the extent of work or specific locations.
Mandatory Pre-tender meeting
A Mandatory Pre-tender meeting will be held on Tuesday 21st October 2008 at 9am at the Tumut Regional Office.
All applicants must attend.
