Tender Details

Located mostly in the southern part of Yanga National Park within proximity to the Murrumbidgee River, Balranald and the Sturt Highway in NSW.

The project includes installation of a pump at an existing pump house on the Murrumbidgee River and installation of approximately 11km of underground water pipeline. The pipeline route crosses two roads and crosses under a dry creek line. Some of the route is on National Park land and other parts of the route are on road reserve and land under other tenure.

Installation of the pipeline includes installing air valves at regular intervals; take off valves for secondary lines, and a terminus. All works are in keeping with the Technical Specification already developed for the project. All works must also fall within the conditions set by the NSW NPWS Review of Environmental Factors (REF) document.
