The work under the contract consists of the removal of snow and the treatment of ice to keep the roads clear and open to traffic.

The intent of the contract is to keep the roads open to traffic and to facilitate access for residents of Cabramurra, Snowy Hydro Ltd employees, snow recreational visitors and other users. Snow and ice is to be cleared sufficiently to allow roads to be trafficable by 2WD vehicles fitted with snow chains.
