Tender Details

The three main project componentsbriefly described below:

1. Dam Break Modelling - study involving hydraulic modelling (1D/2D) for various flood-induced failure/no failures and static failures utilising the latest flood hydrology for Hume Dam;

2. Inundation Mapping - component involving the generation of spatial inundation parameter results from hydraulic dam break modelling outputs and the preparation of inundation mapping downstream of Hume Dam;

3. Consequence Assessment - component utilising inundation mapping outputs to establish updated consequences of failure for Hume Dam ensuring a spatial link between the between the  hydraulic modelling results and the failure consequences; and

The above components are to be undertaken in accordance with current best practice standards and applicable NSW Dams Safety Committee (DSC) and ANCOLD Guidelines.
