Tender Details

The 1830 mm Butterfly Valve situated in the main penstock of the Pindari Dam Low-Level Outlet Works (LLOW) is the Emergency Guard Valve for this water outlet. Currently the 1830 BFV shows signs of considerable corrosion in the area nearby the circumference of the blade which provides support for the inflatable rubber seal. The contract involves a major refurbishment of the Pindari Dam LLOW 1830 mm Butterfly Valve.

Additional Details / Instructions

A mandatory site inspection will be held at 10am on Tuesday 26th March at the State Water Office of Pindari Dam, near Ashford in northern NSW. For entry to site, all personnel will be required to carry a valid OHS general construction induction training (white) card, and photo identification. Failure to attend the mandatory site meeting may result in the tender being passed over.

All attendees must wear appropriate protective clothing which shall include safety shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirt and hi-visibility vest or similar.
