Tender Details

The work will involve excavating and relocating approximately 34,000 cubic metres of cofferdam material including rip - rap and earth material to Waste Stockpile Area. The rock on the upstream face of the cofferdam to be removed and placed on a separate stockpile area as specified in the tender specification. The outer layer of 300mm thickness of contaminated material of the cofferdam is to be removed from the upstream, downstream and top of the cofferdam to expose the underlying silty clay material. The outer material is to be transported to the Waste Stockpile Area and placed on the Waste Stockpile. The remaining silty clay cofferdam material is to be excavated to original natural contour and transported to the Waste Stockpile Area. The clay is to be placed on a separate stockpile for future use.
