Tender Details
Willandra Creek Regulator is located on the Lachlan River, mid-way between Lake Cargelligo and Hillston in Central West New South Wales. The structure is essential for the regulation of flow into the Willandra Creek.
The structure is required to be operated during high flow events causing large unusual loading on the structure. Therefore the proposed study and strengthening is to ensure structural integrity of the regulator and OH&S of the operators.
The work to be carried out by the consultancy is two fold:
(i) To study and assess the conditions of the structure for ensuring whether the structure is stable or not;
(ii) To carry out the detail design, drawings and technical specifications with costing options for ensuring the stability of the structure if it is not found strong enough, from the detail study done in (i) above.
