Tender Details
Pre-qualifying potential Contractors for a design and construct engagement to fabricate and install an innovative floating curtain solution to curb "Cold Water Pollution" for the releases into the Macquarie River. Tenders will be invited from the pre-qualified Contractors, following an Early Tenderers Involvement process to deliver the following scope:
- design, and install a water quality monitoring system in the storage around the intake tower;
- review and modify the concept design of the floating curtain system developed by AMOG;
- identify and undertake gap investigations optimising the curtain system to mitigate Cold Water Pollution and algal issues:
- detail design, fabricate, install and commission the floating curtain system, ancillary maintenance equipment in compliance with environmental and WHS requirements;
- monitor the water quality and make necessary adjustments to the floating curtain system.
