Tender Details

This is a quality assurance contract.

Tenders are invited from prequalified contractors with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at Bridgeworks Category B2 and Financial Level F5, or higher, for construction of a replacement bridge on HW29 over Spring Creek near Narrabri. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the demolition of the existing multi-cell bridge sized culvert and construction of a new 64 m long reinforced concrete spaced plank bridge over Spring Creek.

A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, 6 February 2024 at The Crossing Theatre, 117 Tibbereena Street, Narrabri NSW 2390. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.

Tenderers must confirm their attendance for the pre-tender meeting by COB Friday 2 February 2024 by emailing Pauline.Gomes@transport.nsw.gov.au with subject heading stating ‘Pre-tender meeting attendance confirmation – 23.0000129156.0030 HW29 Bridge over Spring Creek at Narrabri’.

All tenderers must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics through the procurement process and any subsequent contract period.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework, NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement.

This project is jointly funded by the Australian Government.

It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.
