Tenderers are invited to inspect and report for Bridge Assets - Northern Region Maintenance.

The Scope of Work involves planning and undertaking Level 2 Bridge Inspections of structures as directed by TfNSW Infrastructure Services Northern, together with recording and maintenance of inventory and condition data in the TFNSW Bridge Information System (BIS), in accordance with TfNSW practices.

The Contractor is to carry out the Bridge Inspections in Northern region of NSW.

Due to the number of bridges requiring bridge inspections, the works have been split into two (2) geographical areas also referred to as Separable Portions (SP).

• Separable Portion 1 (SP1) – North (From QLD Border to Armadale Latitude) Bridge Inspections (480 Bridges);

and

• Separable Portion 2 (SP2) – South (From Armadale Latitude to Hunter Region) Bridge Inspections (485 Bridges).

• The Contractor is to plan and undertake inspections in the most efficient manner considering location and due dates for the structures.

• The Contractor is to provide for the Bridge Assets - Northern Region Maintenancea Monthly Program of bridges expected to be Inspected in the coming month.

• The Contractor must gain familiarisation of the bridges sites and history from previous inspections in BIS, previous Required Maintenance Actions (RMA’s) in BIS, bridge files in Objective, G drive bridge information and photos before inspecting a complex or special structure.

• The Contractor is responsible for arranging access to all sites.

Please note, tenderer must be TfNSW Approved BIS L2 Bridge Inspector, as certified by the TfNSW Director Bridges and Structures. This is a mandatory requirement for submitting a tender for these works. Evidence of this qualification is to be submitted along with your tender submission.
