Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is inviting suitably experienced, qualified, and accredited Contractors to participate in the tender process for the Minor Physical Works and Services Contract in Millers Point.
Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification Scheme (dated 10th August 2023) with mandatory levels of F2 (Financial) and R2 (Roadworks) to carry out minor civil construction.
TfNSW proposes to install a new moveable median on the Kent Street On-Ramp to the Western Distributor in Milsons Point. The new moveable median will provide TfNSW Network Operations with the flexibility to direct traffic towards the Cahill Expressway or Western Distributor, depending on the time of day and approaching traffic volumes.
The Scope of works includes but is not limited to rigid pavement construction, line marking, median & kerb modifications, and installation of underground conduits & pits.
To successfully participate in the tender process for this project, tenderers:
- Must be registered and active on the TfNSW pre-qualified list with R2 (Roadworks) and F2 (Financial) as a minimum under the TfNSW Prequalification Scheme for road construction.
- Must execute (to the satisfaction of TfNSW) the Confidentiality Deed Poll to receive the tender documents and must return to TfNSW via Tejas.Mistry@transport.nsw.gov.au by 4:30 pm (AEST) Friday, 6 October 2023.
- Must attend pretender meeting at TfNSW project office or Teams online at 02:00 pm (AEST) Tuesday, 10th October 2023 in 71-79 Pyrmont Bridge Road, Pyrmont NSW
Prospective tenderers will need to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) prior to being given the passcode to access the Request for Tender documents.
All tenderers must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics through the procurement process and any subsequent contract period.
