Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Pedestrian Bridge over Silverwater Road, Rydalmere - RTA.08.2593.0162

This is a Quality Assurance contract.

Tenders are invited from pre-qualified bridge contractors at Class B2 or higher for construction of a single span steel box girder structure including, safety screen, reinforced concrete stairways, installation and commissioning of two lifts and minor roadworks. The steel fabrication works must be performed by a contractor pre-qualified at Class SC, and erection of the formwork component of the work must be carried out by a contractor qualified under the RTA registration scheme F.

Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.

A pre-tender meeting will be held at 10.30am, Friday 26 September 2008 at the RTA, Level 6, 27 Argyle St, Parramatta followed by a site inspection. Attendance at the pre-tender meeting and the site visit is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.

Tenders are to be lodged electronically or in the tender box at the RTA's Tender Box, Community Relations, Ground Floor, 260 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills.
