This is a Quality Assurance contract.
Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified at Roadworks Class R40, or higher, for the construction of the Central Coast Highway from Carlton Road to west of Serpentine Road, Erina. The contract involves earthworks, drainage, pavement, utility relocations, traffic signals, property adjustments and associated works.
The Asphalt Paving component of the work must be carried out by contractors pre-qualified with the RTA to Class A5 or higher.
The Traffic Signal component of the work must be carried out by contractors pre-qualified with the RTA to Class TS1.
The earthworks and drainage components of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class E or D respectively or prequalified for roadworks.
The primary testing of the work (including sampling) must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class L2.
The traffic control component of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class G.
A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection, will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday 9 September 2009 at the Gosford Golf & Function Centre, Racecourse Road, Gosford, NSW 2250. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
All Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
