Tenders are invited for the from pre-qualified contractors at Roadworks Class R40 or higher to construct the Avoca Drive (Sun Valley Road to Bayside Drive) upgrade project.
The works involve general earthworks, pavement construction, drainage works including drainage upgrades, asphalt works, utility relocations, traffic signal construction, property adjustments and other miscellaneous works.
A pre-tender meeting and a site inspection will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday 18 March 2009 at the Gosford Golf Club, Racecourse Road, Gosford. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.

The Asphalt paving contractor shall be prequalified at A5 or higher The retaining wall contractor must be prequalified at B1 or higher Traffic Signal works must be prequalified with the Principal at category at TS1 Traffic Control must be registered with the Principal at Class G Earthworks and drainage subcontractors are to be registered with the Principal in Category E: Earthworks or Category D: Drainage Works Laboratory Testing Contractors are to be registered with the Principal in Category L2: Construction Industry Laboratories. Sydney Water Corporation list of suppliers for the relevant class of work for watermain and sewer adjustments. Energy Australia Works – An Accredited Service Provider must, on your behalf, ascertain, and comply with, all Energy Australia’s standards, specifications, procedures and requirements in carrying out the relevant work under the Contract.
