This is a state funded project.
Registrations of Interest are invited from Contractor’s holding a current Unrestricted Demolition (DE1) License as issued by WorkCover NSW for demolition of the old Tourle Street Bridge over the Southern Arm of the Hunter River between Mayfield and Kooragang Island.
The work will involve demolition, removal from site and disposal of the entire superstructure of the bridge and fixed utilities; the piers and abutments, the timber falsework piles and reinforced concrete piles to a depth of one metre below current natural ground surface level.
All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
