Wyong Shire Council is seeking Tenders for a contract for services for the engagement of a qualified and experienced scrap metal merchant. The scope of the Contract Works includes, but is not limited to;
The provision of collection bins at Wyong Shire Council's Long Jetty, Charmhaven Depot and the Bateau Bay Treatment Plant (“Works Depots”) for the temporary storage of scrap metal.
The provision of plant and other equipment for the collection and removal of scrap metals stored in the collection bins at the Works Depots and in bulk stockpiles at the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility.
The collection of vehicle batteries at the Long Jetty and Charmhaven Depots and the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility.
The Contractor will be required to make payments to the Principal for the scrap metal collected.
