The Contract Works include

1.    Completion of all pre-works activities/documentation as required under the Contract.

2.    Attendance at “kick-off” meeting, and all Progress meetings.

3.    Establishment and maintenance of a safe worksite.

4.    The supply, implementation and monitoring of effective environmental controls during the period of the contract.

5.    The supply of all resources and initial clearing of overgrown vegetation including targeted spraying and weeding within the four identified areas, which covers a total combined area of approximately 9,000 m².

6.    The supply of all resources and carrying out at of least 2 repeat sprays and weeding of targeted weeds in all areas to ensure weed eradication prior to new planting.

7.    The supply of all materials and carrying out soil preparation/conditioning prior to new planting.

8.    The supply and application of seeded hydromulch to an area of approximately 1,440m².

9.    The supply and planting of 152 new tube stock trees and shrubs complete with physical guards within the four identified areas.

10.  The supply and planting of 30,295 new tube stock grasses and groundcovers complete with physical guards within the four identified areas.

11.  The supply and placement of mulch to the rehabilitated areas.

12.  The responsible disposal of all waste material.

13.  The regular watering of new trees and shrubs.

14.  The disestablishment and restoration of each area, work compound and access roads/points at completion of the Phase 1 works.

15.  The preparation and submission of a “benchmark” Condition Report quantifying the extent of weed eradication for each Area, and extent of newly planted trees and shrubs for each Area at the time of completion of the Phase 1 works.

16.    Carrying out routine inspections; regular watering of new plants; minor hand weeding; and repairing of plant guards and stakes for a period of 2 years.

17.    The preparation of six (6) monthly Progress Reports quantifying the success of weed eradication for each Area and the success rate of newly planted trees and shrubs for each Area, and advise any remedial actions required.

18.    The replanting and protection of same species trees and shrubs if mortality rates are unacceptably high for each Area, thus ensuring the targeted number of plants survive.

19.    Carry out further targeted spraying and weeding, as required, for each Area, to ensure all targeted weeds are eradicated.
