Central Coast Council / Provision of Design Services for Wyong Shire Cultural Centre - Masterplan and Design of facility to Development Approval and Documentation of Stage 1 - cpa/159128

Tenders are called for principle consultant to form and lead a consultant team to design and document a new cultural centre for Wyong Shire to be located in Wyong and accommodate a 450 seat theatre, 150 seat Studio and associated spaces including a 100 seat restaurant.  The design must allow for staged construction of the cultural centre over a period of time.  The scope of this consultancy will include the preparation of concept designs for the full Brief and a selected design for the full Brief suitable for Development Approval that also shows how staged delivery of the Centre can be achieved over time, and following receipt of the DA approval, documentation of the first stage of the facility.  Allow for the time interval between the lodgement of the DA and receipt of an approved DA.  The successful consultant team will have a proven track record in complex cultural facilities and be committed to working with Council to achieve Council’s objectives.  Council is committed to a sustainable future and environmentally sustainable principles must be incorporated into the design.  Drawings and documents prepared will fulfil Council’s requirements, be suitable for their intended purpose, comprehensive, and coordinated.
