Central Coast Council / Installation of Sub-Soil Drainage at the Halekulani, Kanwal, Killarney Vale and Kurraba Playing Fields - CPA/171026

Wyong Shire Council has a number of playing fields with soil structures and poor subsoil drainage that result in the playing surfaces remaining out of use for extended periods following heavy rainfall and/or that experience excessive deterioration through usage following rainfall periods.

 

Council requires a suitably experienced contractor to install a sub-surface drainage system that relies on connection from the drainage line to the surface via an approved drainage medium, in accordance with the Design Drawings and the Technical Specification.

 

The fields that are to be drained are:

 

HALEKULANI OVAL 1 & 2, Budgewoi (UBD Central Coast Directory, Map 32, Ref. H13)

KANWAL OVAL 1 & 2, Wyongah (UBD Central Coast Directory, Map 40, Ref. M12)

KILLARNEY VALE ATHLETICS FIELD, Killarney Vale (UBD Central Coast Directory, Map 70, Ref. B8)

KURRABA OVAL, Berkeley Vale (UBD Central Coast Directory, Map 69, Ref. L3)

 

The works involve all testing and survey required to verify compliance with the Specification and the Design Drawings.

This is a one off lump sum contract.  The time for practical completion for this contract is 8 weeks from and including the Date of Acceptance of Tender.

 

Contractors are required to provide two (2) prices in their tender.  The two prices are:

Option A – Excluding Sand Grooving

Option B – Including Sand Grooving 

Wyong Shire Council will choose to proceed with either Option A OR Option B from the successful tenderer.
