Central Coast Council / Concept Design, Detail Design and Tender Documentation for T8 Norah Head Sewage Pump Station Upgrade - CPA/147230

The existing Sewage Pumping Station T8, built in 1976, is located at the end of Bald Street, Norah Head on land owned by the Principal. The Principal has identified that the existing Pumping Station, a dual pump in series station with a small wet well, has a dry weather retention capacity of less than 1 hour which does not comply with design parameters. In addition, due to its close proximity to the sea, and other factors, (vandalism, sulphide attack, etc), the station is in generally poor condition. This project is being undertaken to either upgrade the existing station and/or build a new station to take the majority of the flows and refurbish T8 to collect flows that cannot gravitate to the new station. The work shall include the preparation of a "Concept Design Report" to identify the preferred upgrade option for the T8 sewerage system, and following the Principal's approval, the preparation of detail design and tender documentation of the preferred option.
