Tender Details
Wyong Shire Council's Buttonderry Waste Management Facility is located on Hue Hue Road, Jilliby, approximately 10 km north of Wyong. This is a schedule of rates tender for construction of the next landfill cell (Cell 4.2B) at the Waste Management Facility.
The proposed work under the contract will include approximately: 270,000 cu.m. of earthworks in all classes of materials; 30,000 sq.m. cell liner leachate barrier system; 18,000 sq.m. of leachate drainage layer; 270 m of leachate collection drainage including leachate collection well and pump.
Tenderers must hold current RTA, NSW prequalification for Category R5 or current NSW, DOC best practice accreditation for civil construction general, for works over $2.5 million.
A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday 12 August 2009.
The contract will operate under the General Conditions of Contract AS2124 - 1992. The contract will commence in November 2009 with a time for completion of 30 weeks.
