Central Coast Council / Construction of Link, Sparks Road to Lakes Anglican Grammar Senior School, Warnervale - CPA 160794

This contract is for the construction of a Link Road between the intersection of Sparks Road and Albert Warner Drive and the proposed new entrance to the Lakes Anglican Grammar Senior School at Warnervale.  The work also involves a substantial upgrade of Sparks Road to facilitate construction of a major intersection with the Link Road.

The new Link Road is to be constructed as a southern extension of the existing Albert Warner Drive, from near the existing Lakes Anglican Grammar Junior School access.  The eastern section of Albert Warner Drive would form a new four way intersection with the Link road and a relocated junior school access.The proposed senior school access at the southern end of the Link Road is to be a single lane roundabout with provision for expansion in future if the Link Road is to be extended further south to Watanobbi.

The contract includes the construction of approximately 1.3 kilometres of roadworks including new signalised intersections at Sparks Road and Albert Warner Drive at Warnervale.

 The contract is a Schedule of Rates contract and includes several separable portions linked to the key deliverables. One portion will require early completion of a section of the northern end of the Link Road in order that improved access can be provided to the Lakes Anglican Grammar School at Warnervale.
