Tender Details

In December 2008, the Australian Government approved part funding for the implementation of the Tuggerah Lakes Estuary Management Plan (EMP) through a “Caring for our Country” Grant. As part of the conditions set in the contract by Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, Council must “develop rehabilitation plans and program of works for areas designated in the Estuary Management Plan as passive rehabilitation of saltmarsh”. For this reason, a suitably qualified Consultant is required to develop an overarching Passive Saltmarsh Rehabilitation and Management Plan which addresses not only those key locations identified in Section 1, but also any gaps in Council’s current saltmarsh management program to ensure a holistic approach is taken to managing all existing and potential saltmarsh habitats. This One-off lump-sum contract is expected to be completed the 15^th May2009. The structure of this project considers separable portions (deliverables), implying that the payment shall take place after the completion of the different deliverables.
