Detailed Design Documentation - Remediation of Former Tumbi Landfill, Bellevue Rd, Tumbi Umbi
The now closed landfill site off Bellevue Rd, Tumbi Umbi, known as Tumbi landfill, previously formed part of the waste disposal and management regime within the Shire of Wyong. Wyong Shire Council proposes to undertake voluntary remediation of the former landfill site. To this end, Council has a preliminary site investigations, a detailed site investigation and has had a remedial action plan prepared for the site as part of the proposed voluntary remediation of the site under the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997. Council now requires a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to undertake further related investigations and professional services and to prepare a detailed design with associated documentation for remediation of the site. Remediation of the site is to for a possible end use of as a materials transfer station or storage facility for waste. The consultant will also undertake the environmental assessment and prepare all documentation required for approval for the construction of the proposed site remediation.
