GitLab is SNSW's business critical CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous delivery) platform.

The platform includes comprehensive source code repository functionality, and comprehensive DevOps and DevSecOps features, such as SAST, DAST, Code Quality scanning, Container scanning, Dependency scanning, Licence scanning, Secrets detection.

DCS has 4000+ GitLab 'projects' configured, with thousands of associated CI/CD 'pipelines'.

SNSW have used GitLab since 2018.

Gitlab is a DevOps Platform for open-source code repository and collaborate software primarily used by Revenue NSW for the management of the FAR and Crown Jewels Applications. DCS currently uses 350 Gitlab premium Licenses with appx. 150K CI minutes per month.
