Comprehensive network connectivity across NSW is required for the programs being delivered by the NSW Telco Authority, Emergency Service Organisations (ESOs) and multiple NSW Government Agencies. To provide ubiquitous connectivity across NSW, there is a need to increase the diversity of technology solutions to enable NSWTA to manage the communication demands of ESOs, Agencies and the community during major incidents, natural disasters, and in circumstances where there is no currently available connectivity for end-users.
It is a NSW Government commitment to narrow the digital divide and lift digital equity for all customers in NSW, in both urban and regional communities.
Considering the dynamic nature of satellite services and the evolving technology and user requirements, an ideal system will assess the feasibility and benefits of introducing enterprise plans alongside subscription-based offerings. New solutions will involve understanding the distinctive demands and preferences of enterprise clients, as well as identifying potential advantages such as advanced features, personalized support, scalability options, and customized solutions tailored to fulfill the diverse organizational needs.
