The main items of the Construction Works are:

1) Earthworks - access ramps, excavation for Dam toe protection slab & other
2) Concrete Works - remove the top 3.3 m of the Dams crest, drill & grout, anchor bars for capping, precast concrete blocks for P/T cables and other
3) Mechanical Works - dismantle & replace scour valve, extend outlet pipe & other
4) Install Post-Tensioning Cables in the Dam
5) Drainage Works - drill drain holes, install drain outlets
6) Repair Works at the u/s face of the Dam - clean the u/s face and apply waterproof membrane, grouting
7) Flood Reduction Works (primary spillway)
8) Erosion Protection Works for the Dam Toe
9) Erosion Protection Works for the Primary Spillway
10) Miscellaneous Works - install security fencing

Mandatory pre-tender meeting
There is a mandatory pre-tender meeting on Wenesday November 26, 2008.

At 9:30 am at Mid-Western Regional Councils Chamber at 86 Market St at Mudgee.

Only those companies that attend the meeting will be eligible to submit a tender.
