The works involve the provision of a new 13 person capacity passenger lift and associated links, allowing access for people with disabilities to access the existing first floor concrete elevated walkway at Block D.

The lift shaft structure consists of a poured in situ reinforced concrete one-piece pit with a core filled reinforced concrete block internal shaft and exterior face brick facade to match existing brickwork.

The roof structure is of reinforced suspended concrete construction

Link ways are constructed using galvanised structural steel and a reinforced concrete suspended link slab and ground floor slabs, new galvanised access rails, balustrade, aluminium and glass lobby walls, colour bond metal roofing and alterations to existing stormwater lines and services.

Tenders are invited from those companies preregistered in Sydney Basin for Building Works between the amounts of $250,001 and $500,000
