New accessible Bathroom & Laundry
Block 8, Room No. 8R1009 Demolition Demolish existing internal brick wall which divides room. Remove existing steel grille to wall opening on southern side of room. Remove existing door & door frame. Remove any existing fixtures and fittings from room. Cap off any redundant services. Refer to new layout plan for details.

New Construction
Install new beam to support roof structure where existing internal brick wall removed, to structural engineers detail. Brick up the opening left by grille with bricks & mortar to match style & colour of the adjacent brickwork as closely as possible. Install new stud partition to location shown on plan. Line both sides of new partition with 6mm compressed fibre cement sheeting. Install new studwork & line with 6mm compressed fibre cement sheeting to existing brick walls, to allow all new services to run within wall cavity.

Supply & fix new rebated pressed steel door frame to door opening. Supply new solid core, external paint grade timber door. Hang door to swing out. Fix door with new stainless steel hinges. Supply and fix new satin chrome door hardware, lever handle, indicator bolt, push plates & new lock mechanism equal to Lockwood deadlatch type. Fix new weather strip protector to the bottom of the new door to prevent weather & leaves entering under the door. Key locks to the schools existing master key system.
