Customer Service / Design and Construct of Sludge Dewatering System at Heritage Stonemasonry, Alexandria, NSW - 0800034

Heritage Stonemasonry of the Department of Commerce has a sandstone-cutting process plant at Alexandria. Water is used for saw cooling purposes in the sandstone cutting process. The existing process wastewater is collected and treated in a solids separating plant. The supernatant is recycled back to the sandstone cutting plant. The settled sludge is stored in a frenell bin for disposal.
Heritage Stonemasonry plans to modify or replace part of the existing process wastewater treatment plant with a new automatic dewatering system so as to maximise the process water recovery from the plant.

Under this Contract, the Contractor shall:

Design, manufacture, supply and install a complete dewatering system for treating the process wastewater;

Provide all associated process, civil, mechanical and electrical and instrumentation works;

Modify any existing equipment, storage tanks and pipework as necessary;

Provide Operation and Maintenanance Manuals, Safe Work Method Statements, Work-As-Executed Drawings, Tools and Spare Parts.

Test, demonstration and commission the complete new dewatering system.

Provide Operator training.

Provide Work-As-Executed Drawings.

Provide performance guarantees and arrange one inspection during the Defects Liability Period.

Remove all un-used existing plant equipment from within the site to a temporary spot within the stonemasonry premises as directed by the Principal's Representative.
