The NSW Department of Premiers and Cabinet, along with the Department of State & Regional Development, DET, and University of Newcastle, aims for the proposed study to give a firm understanding of how to improve educational outcomes in the region, identification of attitudes to education, what gaps exist, what marketable skills are needed, best method of delivery, and in what locations.
The overall objective is a Smarter Central Coast - with increased locally based skills contributing to the economic self containment of the region, and which result in local jobs
