Project scope and Breakdown into Trades

Refer to the attached drawings of the proposed work. A preliminary scope of work and trade schedule for tender returns is shown below.

1 Preliminaries

Plant, insurances, supervision, cleaning, hand-over, administrative costs, overheads, and profit

2 Demolition and make good

Removal of section of wall and door to Living/Dining area and making good. Widening of external opening between two existing doors.

3 Painting and decorating

Ceiling and wall painting to corridor areas, staff and resident doors. Installation of translucent vinyl film to locked external exit doors. Painting of feature walls to corridor and Living/Dining area. Painting to skirtings and architraves.

4 Floor Finishes

Vinyl to perimeter of corridor, replacing existing yellow area and kitchenette area. New skirting.

5 Joinery

Installation of frame to support book shelving. Installation of proprietary gazebo structure. Assembly of proprietary timber raised planters. Installation of decorative beading to bedroom doors.

6 Furniture

To dining areas, outside spaces. Memory boxes to resident doors.

7 Landscaping

New planting to all raised planters.

8 Miscellaneous

Items not included elsewhere.
