Tender Details

The Greater Southern Area Health Service (GSAHS) is seeking tenders for the provision of VMO services to Barham Koondrook Health Service (BKHS).

Barham and district is a growth area of approximately 2000 people located in the southern NSW Riverina district, only 1 hour from Echuca, Deniliquin and Swan Hill, 1.5 hrs from the regional city of Bendigo and 3 hrs from Melbourne.

BKHS, a unit of GSAHS, is a small rural community health service, servicing the towns of Barham, Koondrook, Wakool, Moulamein and surrounding areas.  The hospital provides emergency, acute and aged care services in an 18-bed facility with a role delineation of level 1-2 and Community Health Services. MHECS - Mental Health Emergency Care Support - is provided via videoconferencing linked to specialist unit.
