Tender Details
The Enterprise Archive Solution consists of the following elements:
(a) Enterprise Archive Components
(b) A Patient Registry to index and normalise patient identities from disparate Feeder Systems;
(c) An Object Registry that stores study meta data;
(d) An Object Repository that stores study objects (including images and reports);
(e) An Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) that mediates interoperability (routing, transformation of HL7 messages and service orchestration) between the RIS/PACS, Patient Administration System (PAS) and various components of the Enterprise Archive Solution, supporting the storage and retrieval of study objects; and
(f) A DICOM Utility that mediates the interoperability (routing and transformation of DICOM messages) between different brands of PACS products and various components of the Enterprise Archive Solution, facilitating the storage and retrieval of study objects; and
(g)Technical Integration Services that integrates the various Enterprise Archive Components and integrates the PAS, PACS and RIS to the Enterprise Archive Components.

NSW Health intends to hold an RFT briefing session on Thursday, 28th January 2010 for all prospective Tenderers and their Key Subcontractors. The time and location for the briefing session will be advised through the eTendering Website. Organisations intending to respond to this RFT should register their interest to attend up to 48 hours prior to the briefing session and advise the names of persons who will be attending the briefing via e-mail or in writing or telephone to the Contact Officer.
Attendance at the briefing session is at the option and expense of the prospective Tenderers and their Key Subcontractors.
Prospective Tenderers and Key Subcontractors are to submit all questions and clarifications required to the Contact Officer at least 48 hours prior to the briefing session.
