Tender Details
The quotation document identifies smoke alarm compliance and works required throughout GSAHS facilities.
Priority is given to patient care areas and accommodation areas where there are no smoke alarms or very low compliance to current smoke alarm standards.
Comments are designed to identify issues relating to hazards or restrictions that may impact on costing &/or installation solutions and should be used as a guide only. Further information should be sought via local asset management staff &/or site inspections.
Quotations to be identified by site and priority i.e.: all sites and total for priority 1, etc.
All works to be quoted to stated compliance and or relevant compliance standards.
Quotations to provide a projected time frame to complete each specified site. (start to completion in days & weeks)
Successful company to provide compliance & certification of all works carried out at each of the specified facilities is in accordance to all regulatory Standards inclusive of the ýSmoke Alarms ý Buildings Legislation Amendment (Smoke Alarms) Act 2005ý.

All Queries in regards to the quotation document in the first instance to be directed to Rod McIntosh Area Fire Safety Manager.
Asset Maintenance Staff contact list for sites is located at the end of this document. Please contact relevant staff with suitable advanced notice i.e. a minimum of 48 hours prior to site visits.
Project should be costed on a per facility basis and may be awarded as such, GSAHS.
Please provide any discount that may apply if 100% of nominated works are awarded.
Works may be staged and GSAHS reserves the right to award works on an ongoing basis as funding is available, you tender should include any penalties that this may incur
