At the discretion of the Department and the Public Health Organisation provide prompt and accurate to advise on:
The acceptability of non-standard clinical trial research agreements or variations
Clinical trial research agreements for which the Department has not developed a standard agreement.
Insurance and indemnity issues and other research governance issues.
The implications of the agreement including, where applicable, variations from standard clinical trial research agreement.
To negotiate problematic clauses with the sponsor/other contracting party to the agreement.
To provide regular progress and costs reports.
