Employee Assistance Program is to be provided for
The Northern/ Central Networks which has an employee population of approximately 11,700 staff. The utilization of the Sydney based external EAP counselling services has been in the range of 0.6 % to 0.9 % of the employee population. A small number of family members also access the service ( between 8 to 12 per year).
Workplace consultations and support to managers (mostly by telephone) is also being provided, with up to 10 hours per year.
The Southern Network has an employee population of approximately 4,800 staff. The utilization of EAP counselling services in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions has been in the range of 7 % to 11 % of the employee population. In addition the counselling services are also being accessed by family members (with approximately 100-180 per year).
Workplace consultancy has ranged between 150 to 250 hours per year.
