Tender Details

The Ministry of Health (MOH) seeks to engage a prequalified consultant with relevant experience and knowledge of the role of the health system and the non-government sector and the health challenges faced by regional communities.

This project aims to:

• Understand the current state of community and charity services in regional NSW

• Plan for future healthcare needs in regional NSW

• Develop healthy community-focused partnerships at a system and district level

• Address gaps in access and services in regional communities

• Ensure service planning is place-based and addresses local needs i.e. collaborative and integrated care models

The MOH seeks to appoint a consultant to:

  • Deliver a report on regional community and charity services and resources
  • Conduct an international literature review of social care/health and wellbeing systems
  • Develop a maturity assessment approach for measuring the effectiveness of a cross-government model of holistic health

The response to the Request for Quote should include:

1.    A project plan which clearly outlines the stages and timeline of the project, internal and external stakeholder consultation approach and key messaging.

2.    Resume of consultant’s and team members’ experience in delivering health and/or government-related evaluation plans and program logics.

3.    Breakdown of team members’ responsibilities and involvement in the project

4.    Budget and fees for the project and deliverables.

5.    Availability to commence the project by 10 July 2023.

6.    Capacity to complete the project by 31 October 2023.

7.    Potential risks and risk mitigation strategies.
