Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / Provision of CityRail Bus Services for Region 5 – Regional West and Region 6 – Regional South West - WS110031

RailCorp is seeking Tenders from accredited bus operators with demonstrated ability to meet its requirements detailed in the RFT for the provision of bus or coach services across CityRail network for Regional West and Regional South West.  Services include:

a)      Bus services to replace or supplement train services in the event of track possession works or other disruptions (Temporary Bus Services), and

b)      Timetabled bus services at set times when train services are unavailable (Timetabled Bus Services).

 

Temporary Bus Services include:

a)      Track Possession Bus Services, which are pre-planned services for planned weekend track possession; and

b)      Additional bus Services to replace rails services, if requested by RailCorp during occasional weeknight track possessions or weekday closedowns on RailCorp Network.

 

There will also be need to provide additional vehicles and drivers for Track Possession Bus Services and Timetabled Bus Services to cater for excess demand caused by special events.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender.
