Tender Details

RailCorp is seeking Tenders for the removal of litter and other rubbish from the rail corridor at stations within the CityRail network. In the City Underground part of the network, the Scope of Work also includes cleaning and disinfection of drains and placement of rat baits.

There are currently 265 stations within the Metropolitan network which have 659 working platforms which incorporate 705 tracks within the Station precinct. At times, litter and rubbish accumulates from the platforms onto the track and surrounding infrastructure.

The proposed Contract is a Schedule of Rates Contract for 2 years, with options to extend this term by up to 2 x 1 year periods. RailCorp is interested in receiving tenders from individual companies or joint ventures.
