Tender Details

To date all UPSS have been drained of liquids and limited environmental assessment has been performed so that an appropriate method of decommissioning could be determined. The location and description of the UPSS sites are presented below:

Cataract Dam Depot - off Appin Rd, Cataract

Burrawang Dam Depot, Wildes Meadow Rd, Burrawang

The scope of works is to be performed in accordance with the following standards:

à         AS4976-2008 The removal and disposal of Underground Petroleum Storage Tanks;

à         AS1940-2004 The storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids;

à         Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water Guidelines for Implementing the Protection of the Environment Operations (Underground Petroleum Storage Systems) Regulation 2008;

à         Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water Waste Classification Guidelines 2009.

The Contractor will have the following accreditation:
